Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I hire an Interior Designer and is it worth the investment?

Let’s break it down really quickly:

  1. Designers save you time and money! We do all of the leg work so that you don’t have to because let’s be real, designing and renovating is a full time job. We take care of the material and furniture selections, managing trades, schedules and also problem solve. Let’s not forget to mention that hiccups are bound to happen, but if we can be there to avoid them, this in turn helps you avoid costly mistakes.

  2. You get to enjoy the process of renovating/building your dream home. This is a big investment and we get that, because we have been there. We understand that this isn’t just “another” project, this is your home and it should be treated as such. We ensure that from the early stages of design all the way to final execution, that your experience remains as stress free as possible. We take care of the problems with valuable solutions so that you don’t have to. Putting out fires is our job, not yours.

  3. We know what we are doing. When we walk into your home, we have the creative ability to visualize its full potential and figure out ways to execute them for you. We also don’t just think about the “pretty”, we think about the functionality of your space and how you will be able to experience it properly when its all said and done.

We understand that additional revisions may be required in order to provide you with the best design solution that meets your needs. Additional requests for revisions will be charged at our hourly rate with clear communication on how many hours we expect those revisions to take.

Yes we do. Our time just like anyone’s is extremely valuable to us and so is the knowledge and expertise that we offer. That deposit signifies a commitment and readiness to work with us as your trusted partner. It also ensures you a spot on our project calendar. We will request this deposit after our initial consultation.

Can you accommodate rush projects or tight deadlines?

Depending on the scope, we can have a open conversation. But generally no. We believe that quality projects don’t just happen overnight. It takes a lot of hard work and long hours to bring our client’s vision to life and we want both parties to be proud of the work we provide.

How involved will I be in the design process?

You hire us because you trust us wholeheartedly with your design vision. That said, your involvement is still an important part of the process. We ask that you provide clear communication and timely feedback so we can keep your project moving forward seamlessly. Our goal is to make this experience both collaborative and stress-free, while ensuring that the final design feels authentically you.
